About Mrs. Bollman...
Kenowa Hills has been my home since 2000. I also worked for the Bangor Township Public School system in Bay City, Michigan for 8 years before Kenowa. I am an alumni of Saginaw Valley State University, where I received my B.S. degree in education, with endorsements in the areas of English and Social Studies. My Masters in the Art of Teaching degree is also from SVSU, which I received in 2001. My favorite thing to teach is Shakespeare and Grammar. EEEWWW!!! I know what you're thinking. I wish I could have met Shakespeare. He would be the greatest friend to have because of his insight into the human condition. I bet he would have loved technology! Don't you think he would have been the greatest poetry slam performer on the planet!
I live here in Grand Rapids. I have taught a lot of my neighbor's children, which is probably weird for them :-). I love it! There are so many things I could tell you about myself, but I'll let someone else do it.
Here is an article about my first day of school this year, written by a wonderful news reporter, Charles Honey. http://www.schoolnewsnetwork.org/news/?rID=1412
